Solitude Rental Information

Solitude is an ideal home for enjoying the island with its 3500 square feet of interior space and over 5500 square feet of total living area. The home is well suited for large parties and families getting together for a week of fun and relaxation. The adjacent two docks, pool/Jacuzzi, and multiple decks bridge the island’s outdoor experience with the comforts of a five-star home. Solitude maintains the character and charm influenced by the first generation island houses while emphasizing luxury quality and fun amenities to the degree rarely found on island homes.

First Floor

The fun epicenter of Solitude. After docking your boat, you are steps away from jumping in the pool. Just off the pool/hot tub deck you will find a fully equipped game room, including a foosball table, air hockey machine, and a large flat screen TV that the occupants can play the latest games provided with the X-Box game console. This area has a full sized, very comfortable futon bed for those who like to play into the night.(click on pictures to enlarge)

Second Floor

Bar / Family Room / 4 Bedrooms / 3 Baths. The Second floor offers a Bar/Family Room as a secondary entertaining space. The charm of this room is the original beamed tongue-and-groove ceiling displaying our suspended hand-carved wooden fish. This area offers a state of the art inflatable sleeper installed in the sectional. Both the Queen room and the Master Suite, have their own walk out porches. (click on pictures to enlarge)

Third Floor

Views / Gourmet Kitchen / Dining. The third floor is all about the views. Solitude boasts having two oversized porches for exterior dining. From these porches you gaze at the Intercostal Waterway and the Hidden Cove entrance to the Island. The Gourmet kitchen affords the occupants the luxury of formal preparation with casual entertaining. This floor is equipped with a large screen TV and the full bath allows additional sleeping on the inflatable sofa bed if one chooses. (click on pictures to enlarge)
